1. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer and your usual place of residence is in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you generally have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier), have received the goods.

You may use any clear wording; there is no special format required.
2. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you for the relevant order, including the standard shipping costs (if any), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back.
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise, we will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for the original transaction. You will not be charged any fees for this refund.
3. Returning the goods & return shipping costs
You must send back the goods to the address we provide without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific product or case.
Please pack the items securely so they arrive in good condition.
4. Condition of returned items & loss of value
You may handle and inspect the goods only as you would be allowed to in a physical store (for example, taking a product out of the packaging and checking the material or size).
If the goods show a loss of value that is due to handling which was not necessary to check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may reduce the refund accordingly.
We ask you, where reasonably possible, to return the goods in their original packaging. However, returning items without original packaging does not exclude your right of withdrawal.
5. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply, or may expire early, in particular for:

goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example, products cut exactly to the individual measurements you provided),

digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, once we have begun supplying it with your express consent,

items which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return once their seal or packaging has been opened, if this is clearly indicated.
If a product is excluded from the right of withdrawal, this will be clearly indicated on the product page before you place your order.
6. Voluntary returns (outside EU/EEA or where no statutory right applies)
If you are not entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal (for example, because you are ordering as a business customer or from outside the EU/EEA), we may still accept returns on a goodwill basis in individual cases.
Please contact us at info@kumonook.com within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number and the reason for your request. We will review your case and inform you whether a return and refund is possible and under which conditions.
7. Defective or damaged items

We will work with you to find a solution, which may include a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund. In the case of justified defects, we will usually cover the return shipping costs or offer an alternative solution.
