How to keep it a surprise
The tricky part of gifting a PC skin: you need to know their case – without asking. Here's how:
- Look at the case: the brand logo is usually on the front or top. A quick photo of the whole PC often tells us the model.
- Measure it secretly (the best option): when they're out, measure the width and height of the flat glass surface only – not the metal frame – in cm or inches, with decimals (e.g. 40.2 cm). Ordering side + front? Measure both panels. Exact measurements mean a perfect fit.
- Check the box or the order history: PC boxes like to hide in closets, and order confirmations live in shared accounts.
- Ask a friend: whoever helped build the PC usually knows exactly which case it is.

Leave the size fields empty when you order a Custom Size skin or a Custom Design. We'll help you find the right size after your order, before anything is printed. A photo of the PC is often all we need.
Can they choose the design themselves?
Absolutely. Give the “coming soon” card and design it together – just reply to your order confirmation email with their ideas.
Is it difficult to apply?
Not at all. Our SmartGrip skins go on dry – no glue, no water, no tools. Align, press on with your hands, done. Every skin comes with an easy video tutorial.
Does it leave marks on the glass?
SmartGrip uses no glue: the material grips mechanically to smooth glass and comes off without sticky residue.
Can a gift be returned?
Ready-made skins for the HYTE Y70 come with the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU. Custom Size skins and Custom Designs are made to measure, so they're excluded – that's why you check the size and approve the design before we print. Damaged or defective?
